OUR FALLEN OFFICERS
It is with deep regret that I inform you that Deputy David Gilstrap of the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, Traffic Accident Prevention (T.A.P.) Unit passed away at St. Mary's Hospital from injuries sustained while directing traffic in a school zone in Oconee County.
On behalf of the Georgia State Fraternal Order of Police I want to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Deputy David Gilstrap and the Oconee County Sheriff's Office. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you during your time of need.
